The ignorance of our political representatives – from the federal level down to the states, counties, districts, and municipalities – seems to know no bounds.
This behavior is supported by an administration that confines itself to enforcing political decisions without compromise – often with no regard for people, the environment, technical expertise, or common sense.
How long are we expected to stand by and watch as our concerns are ignored, our voices dismissed, and our livelihoods put at risk?
Protests, vigils, demonstrations – all of these have an impact. But they are no longer enough.
That’s why I’ve started writing personal letters to decision-makers – clear, direct, and unmistakable. I’m publishing these letters – and any replies I receive – here for all to read.
Feel free to use them, copy them, make them your voice. Because the more people who speak out, the harder it becomes for those in power to keep ignoring us.
No one should be able to say they didn’t know.
